as for me, it is the last semester of nursing school and I am ready to be done. the family is doing well. and that is about it.

Lost was awesome, I had to wait to watch it on Thursday night because the duke-Carolina game was on wed. Night. This season is going to rock.

Well Christmas has come and gone and the new year is fast approaching.

When I stop to look back on the previous year it is amazing at how, not only has it gone by so fast but all that has happened as well. It reminds me of a quote that I have heard but can not remember who said it.

"life is what happens when you are busy making plans"

a little clich`e-ish but it fits.

I had a wonderful Christmas, hope everyone else did.

Well, thanksgiving is come and gone, I had an excellent one, with my dad and brothers.

Got to see Nooft over the weekend, on a side note he was supposed to be in columbia at noon he got there at about 3:00pm, he had some last minute laundry to do.

School is almost over for this semester, two more tests and the final.

Christmas is coming, and not the "Season" or "The holidays", but "CHRISTMAS"

So, it looks like blogging has gone the way of the dinosaur,

Though,with the exception of Amber. Who updates on a regular basis, which i do enjoy reading.

Well folks it has finally happened, after about a year of consistently berating Nooft, he has voicemail.

Starting around a semester before Nooft graduated I have routinely called him about once a week, notice that I said called, not "talked to" . This is how a typical call to nooft would go, 'riiinng.......riinnng.....riinnggg......rinngggg......the wireless customer you are calling is unavailable." so i would call back the next day and get the same thing, and again the next day, then finally he would pick up usually waking up from a noontime nap.

This is how a call to nooft goes now, "rinngg....rinnngg....rinngg....rrriiinnnggg....hey this is joe im not here right now, leave a message" me; "nooft this is beaver, call me back", a few days go by, the above scenario happens, then he picks up usually waking up from a nap. so not much has changed except I can leave a message.

But to know nooft is to...well, if you know him you know what i mean

well, not much has been going on lately.

I have a nursing final coming up next monday(so if any one can say a prayer that would be good).

work sucks just for the fact that it is work and i have to go there.

oh yeah here's a tip, when you know someone is a nurse or a doctor, and they are not in the office or at a hospital, don't ask them "hey can you tell me what this is(insert scab, rash, bruise, something oozing, something that smells,)" or my favorite "hey im having(insert symptoms) do you know what that is? " just schedule an appointment. you wouldnt believe the things that i get asked to look at because people know im in nursing school, its crazy.

Man what can I say, the whole weekend of Brock and Staceys wedding was awesome.

For those of you that missed it, you really missed a great time.

It was really good to see everyone, and even though I havent seen them in about 4 years, it was like no time had past.

I cant say enought nice things about the Briggs family and the hospitality that they showed us. They are 1st. class all the way.

For those that were there leave a comment about one of the more memorable moments of the weekend.

Here's mine;
At the reception, during the tossing of the garter, Stacey's brothers were up front boxing each other out to try and get the garter, Nooft was hanging at the back of the crowd, then at the last minute when the garter was in the air, Nooft came out of nowhere pushed the two brothers out of the way and came up with the garter. GO NOOFT!

Well Iam just leaving to go to the airport.

Havent talked to brock today, but will call him when I get to the airport.
