Thoughts about Comedy
What the heck man, The other night i was watching the bad boys of comedy on HBO, it is P-Diddys comedy show. The begining starts out with Diddy saying the names of "revolutionary" comedians like red fox, eddie murphy, and richard prior, he goes on to say that these comedians revolutionized stand-up, and that this show is the evolution of comedy,
Well i have watched the show a couple of times and ill have to say i have seen nothing new, or cutting edge in the way of comedy, each "cutting edge" comedians routine is pretty predictable and goes something like this.
first, he comes out and says "whzuuuupppp brooklyn"(the show is held there),"man i cant believe im in brooklyn" he then segways into either the "man (insert ones own ethnic group here)people are crazy" routine or "you know(insert ethnic group here)are different than us"routine he then carries on with this for awhile and moves into "and you know women are crazy too" or "men are dogs aint that right ladies?" he then usually intertwines the routines until he winds it up and leaves the stage with a comment simialiar to ;"alright brooklyn Peace out".
the show is just unoriginal and it sucks
so i guess you might be asking yourself, why the heck do you watch the show beaver?
i dont know i guess that im waiting for the show to live up to the premise, of cutting edge comedy, but hey what can you expect from P Diddy right?

now cutting edge to me would be to have the cops bust in and check for drugs and other illegal things. and maybe the comedians could try to not use vulgar and profane language since there are about another 20,000 words they can use but since "education sucks" as i have heard one comedian say recently then what can you expect? i guess "waaaassssuuuppp brooklyn" is about as original as it gets.
HAHA...y'all are nuts! :)
Beaver, I still think you need to try out for SNL! I, honestly, think you could get on. Go for it and revolutionize that mug.
